Programs

DFOY serves over 2,000 youth and community residents through our program sites.

Our Program Sites

Directions for Our Youth offers a range of youth development and adult programs in the Bronx and Manhattan. Below is an overview of DFOY’s program areas.

After School & Summer Camps

DFOY operates afterschool and summer camp programs for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Our programs are offered in schools and community centers, and provide additional resources and a targeted curriculum to engage children in continuing their learning. Recreational activities are combined with hands-on, engaging learning opportunities to enhance academic and social skills. In order to achieve meaningful outcomes for the children we serve, DFOY knows continuing growth at home is key to success, which is why each of our programs encourages family participation in activities and each cycle theme.
