We are excited about kicking off the second half of our program year for 2019-2020 ! We would like to highlight our evening program which is open middle school and high school students. We kicked off this year by hosting Winter Kick Off where participants played ping pong, foosball, old school arcade games, and were entered into our monthly raffle. Lucky participants won brand Nike sneakers or movie tickets. Our participants also went to see the new Bad Boys movie before its official release date, and we closed out the month with an in-house Ice Cream Social and Movie Night. We are excited about our upcoming cooking classes where participants will decide on the menu, shop for ingredients, and prepare the meals themselves before serve their peers.

- Butler wishes to highlight our 2019-20 Urban Ambassadors because of their sustained commitment to improving the community. Members of Urban Ambassadors have attended City Council meetings, conducted voter registration outreach efforts, aided in the delivery of food to the elderly, and have even been selected for our local Tenant Association Board. Our Urban Ambassdors have made our community safer, happier, and healthier!
